Inspiration

The pounding tribal rhythms of Afrobeat music is expressed through this psychedelic brand new font, Afrobeat. Every letter becomes art as every letter is elegantly placed side by side, like music notes, creating music for the eyes. Afrobeat is a musical style performed by many African artists such as Fela Kuti, Femi Kuti, Antibalas and many more, which is a fusion of jazz,funk, and psychedelic rock, originating from the 60s and was based on the political movements of Nigeria.

Noodlerz is the 3rd font designed for Cozy Fonts Foundry. It is the second ‘handwriting style’ type fonts designed to have a very casual but organized voice in it’s coloring when set in text. You might say Noodlerz is a cross between a sharpie & a vintage typewriter alphabet font.

Noodlerz, and it’s partner Noodlerz Italic, give off a humorous personality with a flair of sarcasm and cartoon flavor. Great for captions, grocery lists, Dear John letters, recipes, and of course greeting cards. Advertising headlines and supportive body-copy text marry well in various point sizes.

Designed with a flat brush and inspired by the modern fraktur from Rudolf Koch, Berliner Fraktur is composed by broken strokes, adding a handmade feeling to this geometric kind of calligraphy.

The font contains some interesting alternates and ligatures that make this type more real. The aim was to create a font that doesn't look like a font.

Inspired by the logo from “Lollapalooza”. 

The intention was to design a cheerful, entertaining typeface. Lolapeluza works perfectly for designs for children and youth. 4 variants are also included: -Regular: Basic set -Black: Heavy -line. Lolapeluza can run over or behind a text -Shadow. A Cyrillic alphabet is also included to enhance but the typography is more a set of alternatives.
